Letchworth State Park
We recently visited Letchworth State Park.
It has been many years since I last visited. The water was high, the weather
was perfect and we had a great time.

The Wii Room
After a few months of construction the "Wii Room"
is finally completed.
Construction began in November and was ready in time for the Superbowl.

It's been a long time
I have not posted anything here in 6 or 7 months. I have to admit, it has
been a crazy half a year or so. The new job is going great, we finished the
"bonus room" over our garage, and have been getting acclimated to the new
town. Anyway, here are a bunch of pictures taken since we moved back to
Rochester. Click here for more pictures.
You can see Ben with missing teeth and much, much more.

Moving to Rochester
After 27 years in Baltimore, I (along with the family of course) will be
moving back to Rochester to work at the University of Rochester. I don't
have too much to say at this point, but I'll try to keep you posted. Sorry
that everything on this web site is a year old. Guess I've been busy.

My Sick and Demented Parents
All this time I thought my parents were thoughtful considerate members of
the civilized world. This one photo seems to imply a certain glibness about
the institution of death.

My father and a group of people from his church spent almost a week this
April cleaning up homes damaged by hurricane Katrina.

These are pictures from our recent trip to Florida. Major stops included
Seaworld and Disney World. We had a great time, weather was great, and the
kids held up well. Given the potential nightmare I expected, it was a most
excellent trip.

Volvo Ocean Race
The Volvo Ocean
Race is underway and should arrive in Baltimore sometime around April
17th and depart on leg 6 on May 6th. Baltimore is the end of leg 5 from Rio
De Janeiro. The race homepage is
here. The Baltimore
and Annapolis stopover site is
here.
Publishing for the masses
I recently discovered
mypublisher.com which is a service that takes digital photographs and
creates a high quality printed book for a not too astronomical price. While
the software was annoying I think the results should still be good.
Strangely though, no volume discount, five books cost the same per unit as
one. Of course, I have come to find this is no recent discovery and that
there or other services that you can use as well.
This PDF should look somewhat
like the book I am expecting to receive at the end of this week. I haven't
figured out how to get rid of the password yet so type in 611675 when it
asks.
Snowtime
Enjoyed the results of a nice snowstorm today (2/12/06) after it snowed
about 17" overnight. After a considerable period of unhappiness, Will
decided snow is fun after all.
